The cover of german music producer Boys Noize album Oi Oi Oi is a very fitting visual to describe his sound. A simultaneous tribute to the glitter of disco/electro and the bite of metal. These genres clash to create a wonderfully overwhelming sound. Best for speakers. His remix of Feist – My Moon My Man is absolutely amazing. It has a brilliant sense of pacing that speakers to the range of his sound. An electric orgasm on ketamine.

Re-Up Gang – We Got It For Cheap Vol 3 With DJ Drama(Torrent)
My man Obama and the Clipse have had a hell of a week. They both have been trying push that white girl.
Obama pushed that white Clinton girl in Maine, Washington, and Louisiana, while the Clipse dropped another fucking epic mixtape. Props to both. Its clear after listening to the mixtape that they really want to start shit with anyone. The lyrical metaphors are nothing but superb, his Lil’ Wayne burn on this first song was both cryptic and hilarious. Also as a note about the mixtape, there are two versions of it floating around one hosted by Dj Drama and one without him. I’d recommend getting the one featuring him because he was the final mixer for the tape. So if you want the final version get the dj drama one even though you have to suffer through his countless rants and shoutouts, its worth it for the production.

I take off on Wednesday for NYC. I was so worried about where to stay, but I managed to sublet my room and rent a temp room in Brooklyn. Its amazing how things can come together so quickly. Two days ago I stopped worrying about everything and it all came together after that. There have been all these recent challenges regarding the trip laptop breaking, friends not really wanting to host me, feelings qualification that are all happening for a reason. As soon as I stopped viewing them as huge mind blowing problems, I began to see the reason for their occurrence. Before even going there, I feel that I’ve grown. I didn’t even know what a sublease was two weeks ago. Photos and stories to come. I’ll be working here.

LCD Soundsystem – New York I Love (But You’re Bringing Me Down)

Found this little gem today:
“Blue eye colour most likely originated from the near east area or northwest part of the Black Sea region, where the great agriculture migration to the northern part of Europe took place in the Neolithic periods about six–10,000 years ago.
“That is my best guess,” he said. “It could be the northern part of Afghanistan.”

Spankrock – Put That Pussy On Me (CFCF Remix)
The delightfully trashy lyrics of Spankrock get a bit of class in this remix by CFCF .
A synth heavy banger thats feels like doing E at an orgy on the love boat.
Enjoy.

Fagget Fairys – Uzela (Z-Share)
Islamic lesbian ghetto-electro mc/dj duo DJ Sensimilla & MC ENA from Denmark, (I mean you couldn’t make that shit up if you tried) dish out some incoherent heat on this track. The Fagget Fairy’s sound transcends language so I won’t even really try to tell ya about it. Their name says it all really. Give em a listen and buy their 12″ if ya dig.

Baby Oliver – Primetime (Uptown Express) Media Fire
This mix seemed to come and go unnoticed. On first listen back in the fall it didn’t really stand out. Through the winter this mix has become indispensable. Primetime (Uptown Express) is one the best tracks on the mix. The bass line will make you trade in all your jeans for ones that are two sizes too small.
